Client information

We are situated within the main medical rooms at Europa Medical Clinic. At Podiatry Connect, we believe everyone should receive quality, evidence-based care.

If you are new to our services, please note we operate by appointment only. For your appointment, please bring your private health fund card, Department of Veteran’s affairs (DVA) Gold card or Medicare card as needed (see below if you are unsure). Please also bring anything else that may assist us with your foot health as relevant (e.g. recent foot x-rays or other investigation reports, well-worn shoes).

Clients are asked to register their attendance at the front desk on arrival. New clients, please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. Our podiatrists endeavour to run on schedule and your punctual attendance will assist this. Should you arrive late for your appointment your practitioner will do their best to provide you with treatment within the time limit available.

Financial information

Private clients

All private health funds or uninsured clients are welcome at Podiatry Connect. Whilst some health funds cover a percentage of the cost of podiatry services, we recommend you check the level of cover with your health fund prior to your visit. Gap payments are expected to be settled at the time of consultation. We provide HICAPS onsite and accept payment via Visa card, Mastercard and cash.

Department of Veteran’s Affairs (DVA) clients

DVA clients with a Gold card and an appropriate referral from their GP will be bulk billed. Those with a DVA White card may be bulk billed if accompanied by an appropriate referral (once access is confirmed).

Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plans

Those with a CDM plan (formerly Enhanced Primary Care plans (EPCs)) may be eligible for bulk billing IF:

  • The referring GP is located at Europa Medical Clinic
  • The plan is active, within the referral period (within 12 months) and does not exceed the maximum number of attendances* for the year

*Chronic Disease Management plans allow 5 allied health visits per annum maximum regardless of when the plan was activated. Clients are responsible for all rejected CDM payments in full.

Clients with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

We welcome NDIS clients who are self-managed or go through a plan manager. We can help with general podiatry treatments and the assessment and provision of foot orthoses and other mobility aids. Please phone our friendly receptionists to book an appointment and ensure you note your NDIS status. We will ensure we have allocated you adequate time to complete the health service plan and other requirements.

Please note we can not see clients who are agency-managed at this time.

Cancellation policy

We prefer 24 hrs notice for cancellations. Please note a fee is payable for non-attendance or cancellation with less than 3 hours’ notice.
